Andrew Berthusen
Chief Executive Officer
Andy brings extensive experience in healthcare innovation, spanning product development, marketing, and sales. With past experience in point of care technology at global companies such as GE and Exo, Andy brings fresh perspective and a drive for transformation to SwipeSense. Andy is particularly passionate about SwipeSense’s approach to revolutionizing the use of technology in healthcare and supporting hospital staff to reduce hospital-acquired infections and ultimately save lives. He emphasizes that revolutionary thinking is essential for success in infection prevention and enhanced patient care in today’s rapidly evolving market and technology landscape.
Leang Chhun
VP of Customer Experience
Leang Chhun is an accomplished leader in healthcare technology, currently heading the Services and Implementation teams at SwipeSense. He transitioned to SwipeSense from Clean Hands – Safe Hands, where he began with the Partner Success Team. With over 15 years of experience, Leang has held pivotal roles in various healthcare IT companies and a major health system in Georgia. He is committed to enhancing patient care by delivering efficient and effective implementation and support services. He is also a proud alum of the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Erin Wilband
VP of Operations and Quality
Erin has over fifteen years in the technology industry. She puts our people and culture at the heart of our internal operations, drawing on her past of establishing and enhancing processes across business functions. With continuous improvement and lean methodologies, she is dedicated and passionate about ensuring SwipeSense operates through the best possible processes and systems, giving our employees and customers a seamless experience. Working cross-functionally, Erin is thrilled to be leading the efforts to improve operational efficiency through data-driven decisions which align with SwipeSense’s core values.
Jason Morcos
VP of Engineering and ISO
Jason oversees our engineering team to guide the overall technology strategy and development efforts and is responsible for our strong security program. Since starting at Clean Hands – Safe Hands in 2016, he’s played a key role in the growth and development of the company’s analytics and IoT platforms, leveraging his background in healthcare to ensure that our platform enhances the workflows and patterns of providers and healthcare administrators. Jason holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Carey Mackesey
VP of Human Resources
Carey joined SwipeSense in July 2023 from Clean Hands – Safe Hands where she worked as Operations Manager since 2020. Carey is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of expertise in government and public relations. Seeking new challenges, Carey transitioned to healthcare where she optimized operational processes and led human resources. Leveraging her wealth of experience, Carey is committed to spearheading innovative approaches to talent acquisition, employee development, and fostering a vibrant company culture.
Morgan Held
Senior Director of Product and Marketing
Morgan joined SwipeSense in 2022, bringing experience from the medical device industry where her passion for healthcare innovation first began. With more than a decade of experience across product management and marketing, she focuses on uncovering customer needs and translating insights into impactful solutions. Morgan believes a deep understanding of customers and the market is essential to identifying healthcare challenges, developing solutions that solve real problems, and clearly communicating value to the organizations that need it most. At SwipeSense, she leads product marketing initiatives that support improved patient care and healthcare efficiency in alignment with the company’s mission.
